Why a Webex meeting is easy to miss on a Mac

macOS plays one alert sound for every notification and only lets you switch an app's sound on or off — never change it. So a Webex meeting reminder or an incoming call pings exactly like a routine message in a space, and when you're heads-down in another window it's easy to look up thirty seconds too late.

Webex is a busy app — spaces, mentions, reminders, calls — and it all shares your Mac's single chime. The one notification that's time-critical, the call that's ringing right now, sounds no more urgent than a message you could answer this afternoon.

What you can do without TrillMark
